For a school assignment I am doing a little research on the importance of rules in graphic design. (Could they be seen as a type of template?) I am making a series of variations on classic Wim Crouwel poster (that you can see here) trying not to work as a graphic designer. I am curious in finding out what are interesting, unexpected methods of creating a graphic design/poster? How can, for example, a sculpture or illustration be(come) a graphic design?
Next to my own works I think it’d be interesting to also collect other people’s visions on what a poster can be to them. So if you feel like sharing how you would interpret Crouwel’s poster, that would be greatly appreciated!
It doesn’t have to be too serious, just have a little fun, bend or ignore the rules and be as radical as you like! You can send any works via tumblr, email or Facebook, whichever you prefer.

Would be great if you could send your poster in before june 10!
Thank you!
